The Sword’s second full-length album, Gods of the Earth, came out in 2008 on Kemado Records. The Austin, Texas band plays a brand of heavy, riff-driven rock rooted in 70s hard rock and doom metal, drawing frequent comparisons to early Black Sabbath.
