Here’s a pressing that doesn’t get nearly the attention it deserves from Stones collectors. “Love You Live” captured the band at a fascinating crossroads in 1977, documenting both their massive North American tour from the previous year and intimate club performances at Toronto’s El Mocambo. What makes this Canadian pressing particularly interesting is its proximity to those legendary El Mocambo sessions this was pressed in the same country where Mick, Keith, and the boys were jamming in that tiny club, trying to recapture their blues roots while legal troubles swirled around them.
