Recording this album felt like the crescendo of years of struggling to understand myself. It can get quite claustrophobic living inside my head. The album is a journey around Ellurs mind, it dips into different musical genres that have shaped her for the past 24 years from the 90s indie rock she grew up with, to glitch-pop she discovered in her late teens to the alt-folk she cherishes now.
