Alex G’s DSU is widely regarded as his breakthrough fifth album, a landmark in his self-recorded, intimate indie sound. Originally released in 2014 and reissued in 2022 as an LP with a bonus 7-inch on Lucky Number, this edition includes Soaker and Waiting For You on vinyl for the first time. This album was largely self-recorded at home and performed mostly solo, showcasing the stark, melodic sensibility that drew a dedicated indie following.
