Two months prior to the release of their classic Death Metal album in August 1997, the undisputed Kings of Swedish Death Metal DISMEMBER launched the Misanthropic CD-EP as advance to their upcoming album.

Dismember – Misanthropic (1997) is an EP that captures the essence of Swedish death metal in five fast and aggressive songs. Misanthropic stands out for its brutality, with fierce riffs and Matti Krkis hate-filled vocals. Despite the intensity, Dismember manages to incorporate melody without losing its strength, as heard in Pagan Saviour and Shadowlands. The EP blends technique and violence, serving as a perfect example of the bands relentless style.

27 years later, the Misanthropic EP gets a proper recognition being released for the first time as a single 12 vinyl including insert with lyrics.
