This is a vinyl LP pressing of Haruka Na Chi E – Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind (Original Soundtrack) by Joe Hisaishi. E – Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind is an animated post-apocalyptic fantasy adventure film written and directed by Hayao Miyazaki, that premiered on March 11, 1984. Joe Hisaishi was hired to compose and arrange the film’s score. This would be his first involvement with Miyazaki’s works. As a student of anime composer Takeo Watanabe, Hisaishi’s music has been known to explore and incorporate different genres, including minimalist, experimental electronic, Western classical, and Japanese classical.
