This is a 2023 reissue vinyl LP pressing of Bill Evans Trio with Symphony Orchestra by Bill Evans Trio. The American jazz pianist and composer originally released his album in 1966 via Verve Records. Produced by Creed Taylor, the album was recorded at Van Gelder Studio, in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey. The group is accompanied by a 48-piece symphony orchestra conducted and arranged by Claus Ogerman. The Symphony Orchestra album includes compositions by Granados, Bach, Scriabin, Faur, and Chopin as well as two by Evans and one by Ogerman. The results are just beautiful.
