Blitzen Trapper’s Wild and Reckless is their ninth studio album, released in 2017. Born from the band’s year-long stage production, the rock-opera blends storytelling with a Western noir vibe across 12 tracks, including seven songs from the musical and five new numbers. The project weaves newly written material with selections from Blitzen Trapper’s catalog, creating a cohesive narrative arc. It was issued on LKC Recordings on November 3, 2017.
