The Georgia Satellites is the 1986 debut album from the Atlanta-based rock band of the same name, released on Elektra Records. The record is a straightforward blend of hard rock and Southern rock with strong roots and country influences, drawing comparisons to early Rolling Stones and classic boogie rock. The album produced their signature hit “Keep Your Hands to Yourself,” a driving, blues-inflected rocker that became a top-five single, along with the raw opener “batting the Rock.”
