At the centre is Jasper Hoiby , a composer and bandleader whose international
reputation was shaped through Phronesis, the influential group formed in 2005 that
redefined expectations of the modern piano trio. That grounding in structure, risk and
collective momentum sits at the core of this project.The music moves fast and hits
hard, shaped by clear melodic ideas, shifting time signatures and an acute sense of
space. Acuna’s precise, driving detail and Torres’ harmonically focused piano
language connect tightly with Hoiby’s bass- led writing, creating music that feels
urgent, physical and alert to every change in direct
