‘Chromakopia’ is Tyler, the Creator’s eighth studio album, a self-produced hip-hop and R&B record that explores themes of fame, paranoia, aging, parenting, and love through a narrative guided by his mother. The album blends musical styles similar to his previous work with a new vulnerability, using the metaphor of ‘color’ (chroma) to represent the intensity of his feelings and experiences, as he sheds past personas.
